Lake Como's most cinematic terraced gardens at Lenno.
Jutting into Lake Como on a wooded promontory, Villa del Balbianello is famous for its loggia and tiered gardens — a setting so romantic it has starred in countless films. Owned by the FAI heritage trust, it offers only a strictly limited number of weddings each year.
Ceremonies take place on the lawn beneath the loggia, with the lake and mountains wrapping around guests, followed by dinner on the terraces. Access is by boat from Lenno, adding to the sense of arrival. Milan is around 1h15 away.
